installed 3rd fuel filter

Just installed my third fuel filter at 45,000 kilometers ( 30,000 miles), judging by the filters coloring stains (1/6th left off white) I would say that changing my OEM filter should be every 10,000 miles, the inside of the canister was pristine (no rust), the filter medium was not distorted in any form.

Sorry to here about your service mgr being negative about filters and forums, Personaly I would check with another dealer because my dealer said go for it and I cant see any difference between the 2 countrys. After all they are all GM

gene smith gm USA and gm CANADA are treated as two separate entities, many USA bullitins are not accepted up here unless they authorized by gm CANADA even though the truck is imported from the USA, as the expression goes ONLY IN CANADA.
