Hello every one I just joined this forum today. I have a 2000 C3500Hd Chassis cab with a 12’ flat bed. My plan for this truck is to do a Duramax swap as it currently has a 454 in it. I would also like to make it a 4x4 as well. This truck has a lot of potential no rust on the cab has a factory CD player which is odd for a work truck. I picked this truck up for a steal of a price of only $500 because reverse went out on it.

Welcome to the forum! The 3500HD is pretty rare, especially a 2000 model year truck. It should be a good choice for a conversion. Depending on your plans for using the truck, I wouldn't rule out a performance 6.5L diesel swap. Good luck. Jim

Thanks. Still doing some research on the conversion. It will be used as a farm truck for the most part hauling hay bales and skid loaders. But I plan on going through the entire truck and changing it up.
