My 88 has 385764 and that is registered. Both DMV and carfax when I bought the truck. Had a jasper engine 20,000 miles ago. But before that all original engine. 365,000 on a 6.2 pretty darn good.

My 1985 M1009 has a mere 61k miles on it. 6.2L, TH400, NP208 4x4, Blazer.
I just bought a 1986 M1031 with just under 14k miles on it. 6.2L, TH400, NP205 w/pto, 4x4 Contact Maintenance Truck.
But I have 'green iron disease'. The only cure for which is more green iron. Go figure.

i think i cannot win... but my blazer is having first model 6.2 n/a thingy... i cannot be sure about miles and i have changed heads and some other parts in it... Engine is from some pickup or van... those are mostly driven atleast 280-300 000 miles before somebody even thinks tearing it apart... and thinking to fit engine from it to some other truck... my blaze got its heart transplant about 10-15 years ago... also i bet it been running atleast 10 000 every year more... so i think 400 000 it not even far from true... truck is been orginally 350+350 and have been running some good miles already with original setup.. i change old speedo/odometer 2 years ago... old one had worn wormgear tooths out...
tell me if i write something wrongly...

"the cop asked me " Do you know why Im pulling you over"?
I said "Yeah". The cop then asked "why"? I said " Because you have a gun, a faster car, a radio, lots of friends with radios, pepper spray and handcuffs". "
Ive got a .04 over rebuild with about 15k on it. I'm not even in the top 100.
Its good to see these engines really will outlast there badmouthing when taken care of properly. I hope mine lasts as long as all of you guys have had yours.

Hi, I'm new here. I've been trying to buy this truck from a friend of mine for years. 526,982.7 as it sits in the driveway right now. 1984 K10 Suburban, 6.2 diesel, 700R4, NP208, 10 bolts front and rear. 3.73's I think and 31x10.50 AT's. It's had 5 or 6 transmissions, the rear end rebuilt at 300k, and 4 or 5 injector pumps. The long block has never been touched though. 10w40 Quaker State every 2-2500k miles, never over 3. Daily driver. Does high teens around town and @ 70-75 on the interstate.
I've been around this truck most of my life and the mileage is accurate. A friend of mine has had it since almost new (original owner swapped for a 3/4 ton after pulling his boat with it once). Hopefully the odometer will roll over a few more times for me!
i have a 1990 GMC K3500 dually. original 6.2L, original 4 speed manual with overdrive and completely original body. 647,000 (Kilometers) so right around 300K Miles if i converted correctly. truck was from Canada originally so everything is goofy in the truck
Unfortunately I cannot compete in the high mileage however I feel its worth a mention. I always kept track of my mileage for work and had a good idea what I was getting for fuel economy so in noticed when my odometer slowed down(Feb.2002) and quit working before 400,000km. I already had the manual glow plug switch and high idle It was not long after that I had my injection pump and injectors rebuilt. In 1998 I had put new glow plugs in before I figured it was the relay problem. Since the rebuild in 02 this truck has been great and have calculated over a million kms since I bought this truck new.A few years ago I actually put the original glow plugs back in. However ,this fall while driving it surged after pulling away from a stop, then once more and then died. Still hopeful I can figure out the problem because it ran so nice up to that point
