    duramax savana 2006. abs light on but no codes found with scanner.
    brake fluid level is good and no shakes or sounds.
    checked the 60amp ABS fuse and it was ok.

    time to check grounds? where are they located?

    What "scanner" did you use? You may want to see a dealer with a Tech 2 scan tool that can often find codes that the generic tools cannot.

    You need a Tech II or compatible (Snap-On) to read BCM and EBCM codes (which is where your ABS codes are). Most all "off-the-shelf" code scanners only read PCM/ECM codes, which are almost exclusively emission systems related.
